OUR 50 + YEAR JOURNEY!
Calibre began in Wheat Ridge, Colorado in 1973, founded by two friends in a small industrial park along I‑70. The shop remained there until 2001, when it was purchased by a new owner who continued to build on its reputation.
In 2005, Calibre moved into a newly constructed facility near 62nd & Beach — a major upgrade that allowed the business to expand its capabilities and take on larger projects. Another ownership change in 2016 brought even more growth, doubling both the size of the operation and the volume of work. By 2019, Calibre relocated once again to its current Commerce City location, where it continues to serve Colorado’s marine community.
For more than 50 years, Calibre has remained family‑owned and family‑operated, committed to delivering the highest level of service possible. Today, our facility spans nearly 12,000 square feet and is equipped to repair boats, RVs, and a wide range of fiberglass and gel‑coat projects to original specifications.
We are a full‑service, professional marine body shop — not a “shade tree” garage. Our equipment, experience, and processes reflect the standards we’ve upheld for decades . Alongside our fiberglass, restoration and body repair departments, we operate one of the largest paint booths in Colorado, capable of handling even the biggest jobs. Just like a boat, we can restore your trailer and make it look like its brand new again.
